Spring Trek Sydney
Spring Trek Sydney is an 18 or 30km trail event, set in the stunning Ku-ring-gai National Park, where teams of three to six walk (or run!) together to support literacy and girls' education in Asia and Africa through internationally renowned and award-winning non profit organisation, Room to Read.
Spring Trek Sydney showcases the best of Sydney’s bush – sections of the iconic Great North Walk, wildflowers in bloom, creek crossings and hilly terrain that opens up to beautiful vistas. The event is situated less than an hour's drive from the heart of Sydney.
Please note: This is a challenging 18km or 30km trek, including steep hills – so you will need to train in order to enjoy the event. Here are some of our Training Tips.
INTRODUCING FAMILY TEAMS
This year we're adding an option for 14 to 17 year-olds to join in the trek. Teams must have one adult for each teen in the team. This is the perfect way to have fun with your family and enjoy an outdoor activity together. Spend time training for the event in the run up to October 22 and then enjoy the satisfaction of completing a challenging trek as a family.
Please note: Adults must ensure that the teens joining the team are well prepared for the trek. Please refer to 'The Course' details to understand the level of commitment that you will be making when you enter.
